Work with us
City Care Partnership is a dynamic and active employer. We are always looking to recruit staff who share our values.
What We Do
At City Care Partnership, we have always developed our services to meet the needs of individuals who would often struggle in mainstream community services.
There are plenty of opportunities for riding the horses
Dog grooming and walking is a popular choice
At City Care Partnership, we believe that living an active, engaged lifestyle benefits everyone. That’s why we created Yew Tree — our own stables and urban farm located in South Manchester. This unique space offers meaningful opportunities for people to connect with animals, explore the outdoors, and build skills through hands-on experiences.
We understand the positive impact that working with animals can have on wellbeing and personal growth. At Yew Tree, individuals take on real responsibilities — developing a sense of achievement, connection, and purpose as they care for our animals.

Some individuals choose to participate as part of our Work Project, where they receive a therapeutic wage in recognition of their contributions. This not only supports financial independence but also acknowledges the value of their efforts.
For others, simply walking the dogs offers a calm, enriching experience — whether as a way to connect with others or to enjoy peaceful reflection by the riverside.
We are an ASDAN-registered centre, offering short courses in animal care. These courses provide:
If someone wants to pursue animal care more formally, we work alongside them to explore new opportunities — supporting them to develop lifelong interests and vocational skills.
Our Yew Tree project brings together the therapeutic power of nature, the joy of animal care, and the value of meaningful work. It’s a space where people can:
Through Yew Tree, we nurture both personal and professional development — offering a welcoming, supportive environment where people can thrive.
